It’s been already a month and a half since we suffered from a national catastrophe, in which our population was severely affected, materially and psychologically, but fortunately, our spiritual capacity prevailed and was strengthened in a part of us.
Many Chileans suffered the total loss of their homes, they are still trying to move on and keep with their lives, searching for the tranquility they used to have before this incident. And can we help to make this stage easier and faster? As a society we’ve already had the chance to contribute, but what about now? Since we don’t see that reality near, we tend to move along and keep our lives, forgetting what happened to a great part of our population. To keep this matter in our concern and help to their wellbeing, we have the opportunity of helping rebuild our country through “Un techo para Chile”, who searches for young volunteers with no other requirements than a good disposition. It is also necessary to mention the importance of faith, since we generally entrust ourselves and thank him for keeping our lives and the lives of the ones close to us, safe.
I thoroughly believe that the spiritual component helped a lot, so did the commitment and support of everyone. Without a doubt we lost so much, but through the pain we gained unity and faith.
